Makassar – Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto is committed to improving teacher’s salaries if elected in the 2024 Presidential Election. He also promised to work hard so that farmers, fishermen, and the people of Indonesia can live prosperously.
This was asserted by Prabowo in front of 50 thousand people in South Sulawesi who attended the event “Silaturahmi Relawan Prabowo-Gibran se-Sulawesi Selatan” at GOR Sudiang, Makassar, on Friday (2/2).
“We want to improve the salaries of all teachers. And we must help and ensure our farmers, fishermen, and workers to live prosperously. They are the heroes of the nation, they are independent,” said Prabowo.
“Therefore, if I receive a mandate, I will work as hard as possible to improve the lives of all elements of society. We have calculated. Farmers, fishermen, workers, meatball and cendol sellers, everyone must be prosperous and live decently. We must create justice and prosperity for all the people of Indonesia,” he continued.
At the same time, Prabowo also highlighted how the wealth of the Indonesian nation must be felt and enjoyed by its people.
For this reason, the Prabowo-Gibran pair is committed to continuing the downstream policy that has been implemented by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), where Indonesia’s wealth is processed within the country to bring a lot of added value to the nation. Thus, Indonesia will have a strong and brilliant future.
“My brothers and sisters, we understand that our country has been given abundant wealth by the Almighty. However, our wealth is often taken cheaply by other nations. President Jokowi Widodo continued the work of our predecessors and we are also ready to continue his line. We, the Koalisi Indonesia Maju, do not want to sell our wealth cheaply to other nations anymore,” he stressed.
As the days count down to the presidential election on February 14, 2024, Prabowo urged all Indonesian people to use their voting rights wisely. Sovereignty, he said, lies in the hands of the people. Therefore, this five-yearly momentum must be used as best as possible.
“In 12 days, on February 14, every citizen will exercise the sovereignty of the people. You exercise this sovereignty once every 5 years, so the Indonesian people must not make the wrong choice,” concluded Prabowo. (SENOPATI)
