Malang, Jawa Timur – Prabowo Subianto is called the nation’s best son by the 6th President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) as well as the Chairman of the Democratic Party’s High Council. SBY stated that Prabowo is worthy to lead the nation of Indonesia.
This was directly conveyed by SBY at the grand campaign event of the Democratic Party held at GOR Gajayana, Malang, East Java, on Thursday (1/2/2024).
In the event with the theme ‘Democratic Win, Prabowo for President’, SBY stated that there is a figure of the best son of Indonesia who is ready and capable, even able to make the city of Malang and the whole of Indonesia prosperous and advanced.
“I want to ask, does Malang want to progress? Does Malang want the people to prosper? Does Indonesia want to progress? Does Indonesia want its people to prosper? If it does, there is one of the best sons of the nation who is ready, capable, and able to make Malang and our Indonesia become even more advanced and prosperous,” said SBY in front of tens of thousands of people who filled GOR Gajayana.
According to SBY, the best son of the nation is Prabowo.
“The best son of the nation is here, with us, who we truly believe is ready and able to lead us all. Who is the best son of the nation? Prabowo, who? Prabowo,” he said.
SBY also admitted that Prabowo is his old friend. Not forgetting, SBY also invited all the people of Malang, East Java to vote for the Prabowo-Gibran pair in the upcoming 2024 general election, which is only a few days away.
“Yes, Mr. Prabowo Subianto is my friend. Therefore, two weeks from now, let’s choose the leaders of the nation, candidate pair Prabowo-Gibran, which number? Number two. That is what will lead Indonesia to progress,” said SBY.
Apart from SBY and Prabowo, the General Chairman of the Democratic Party also attended the grand campaign event. Also present were the Governor of East Java, who is also the national campaigner for Prabowo-Gibran, Khofifah Indar Parawansa; and the Vice Governor of East Java, who is also a supporter of the number two candidate pair, Emil Dardak.
