Jakarta – Prime Minister Republik Ceko, Petr Fiala through his personal account, @P_Fiala, congratulated the number two candidate, Prabowo Subianto, for his victory based on the quick count results.
“Congratulations to H.E. @prabowo Subianto for winning the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election,” tweeted Petr on Wednesday (14/2).
In his post, Petr also mentioned his visit to the country and prayed for a smooth transition of leadership from President Joko Widodo to Prabowo.
Furthermore, Petr also expressed his readiness to strengthen the relationship between the Czech Republic and Indonesia under Prabowo’s leadership.
“Considering my visit to your beautiful country less than a year ago, allow me to pray for a smooth transition while expressing our readiness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries,” Petr wrote.
The victory of Prabowo-Gibran in the quick count version is evident from the constantly updated numbers by several survey agencies and media.
The latest data this morning, the average vote tally for Prabowo-Gibran is almost reaching 60%. Kompas Research Center shows 58.73%; Indonesian Political Indicator 58%; and LSI Denny JA at 58.16%. (SENOPATI)
