Jakarta – Presiden terpilih untuk periode 2024-2029, Prabowo Subianto, menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) atas dukungan dan komitmen untuk mendukung pemerintahan mendatang. Prabowo mengungkapkan hal tersebut dalam acara Halal Bihalal PBNU 1445 H yang diselenggarakan di Gedung Pusat PBNU, Jl. Kramat Raya No. 164, Jakarta Pusat, pada Minggu (28/4). Menurut Prabowo, tantangan yang akan dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia ke depan tidaklah mudah, oleh karena itu diperlukan komitmen dan kerjasama yang erat, termasuk dengan PBNU.
“Challenges that are faced are not getting easier and not becoming simpler. With the invitation of Mr. Jokowi to join me in entering the government, I am involved closely in the discussions and decisions made by Mr. Jokowi, indeed the government’s task, the task of accepting the people’s trust, must really work for the interests of all the people of Indonesia,” said Prabowo.
“Alhamdulillah, the people have given a mandate to Prabowo-Gibran, but we are just figures, it is not possible for only two people to solve the problems of the nation,” he continued. Therefore, the involvement of PBNU and other inclusive Islamic organizations is needed to work hand in hand.
According to Prabowo, the foundation will become stronger when all elements work together to safeguard the nation and the state in order to protect the wealth of Indonesia.
“We feel that our main duty is to safeguard the wealth of Indonesia so that it can be enjoyed by all the people of Indonesia. Therefore, the strategies that have been initiated by Jokowi are considered a very strong foundation, and we will build upon that foundation,” concluded Prabowo.
