Prabowo Subianto, the President of Indonesia, visited Klaten, Central Java to inaugurate the Merah Putih Village Cooperative Program, a key initiative of his administration. Dressed in a brown suit and black peci, President Prabowo greeted the public with a smile and handed out shirts as his motorcade made its way to Klaten. The official launch of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative took place in Bentangan Village, Wonosari District, marking a significant milestone in the President’s economic agenda. This program, which aims to establish over 80,000 cooperatives nationwide by October 28, 2025, is designed to boost rural economies, enhance farmers’ trade terms, and generate employment opportunities, fostering inclusive development from the grassroots level and beyond.
