The Free Health Check in Schools (CKG) program is set to cover 53 million students nationwide in Indonesia. This initiative will encompass all types of educational institutions, including public, private, and religious schools, overseen by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which supervises 12.5 million students. Senior Expert Staff at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Hariqo Wibawa Satria, highlighted the importance of providing free health checks to every citizen, including school students, emphasizing President Prabowo’s vision of a Golden Generation by 2045. President Prabowo views every Indonesian child as a crucial national asset, shaping strategic policies and programs aimed at their well-being, such as Free Nutritious Meals, Capacity Expansion of Public Hospitals, and various scholarship initiatives. The implementation of CKG in religious schools, as confirmed by Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar, is a significant step towards realizing Indonesia’s 2045 vision of a healthy, intelligent, and globally competitive generation. Minister Nasaruddin called on religious schools to actively support the program by providing necessary equipment and ensuring staff participation, with strict monitoring by Regional Office Heads and District Heads of the Ministry of Religious Affairs to ensure full compliance.
