President Prabowo Subianto attended the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in collaboration with ITB, showcased various research innovations and technologies. Prabowo visited exhibition booths, including the “Flagship Research Products” booth from Padjadjaran University, highlighting VR Dental Hypnosis and other research-based technologies.
In his remarks at the Sabuga Hall, Prabowo expressed his appreciation to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the Governor of West Java, and other distinguished guests. The theme of KSTI 2025, “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” aims to fuel national economic transformation through research, science, and technological innovation.
The convention plays a crucial role in the government’s strategy to build a foundation for Golden Indonesia 2045. Exhibitions at KSTI 2025 feature priority sectors like energy, defense, digitalization, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. It serves as a platform to drive economic growth and innovation for a stronger Indonesia in the future.
