Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo recently visited SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta to oversee the nationwide launch of the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG Sekolah) program. The initiative, in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s focus on youth health, aims to improve the physical fitness of Indonesian students. Minister Dito highlighted the importance of early detection in maintaining the well-being of the younger generation. Accompanying the minister were officials from the Ministry of Health and athletes, including sport climbing gold medalist Veddriq Leonardo and former badminton player Bellaetrix Manuputty. The program provides health screenings for students, covering various aspects such as physical fitness, dental and eye health, and mental well-being. With a focus on preventive care, the CKG initiative targets millions of students nationwide to promote healthy living habits and equal access to healthcare services. The government envisions a Golden Indonesia by 2045, with the CKG program playing a crucial role in achieving this goal.
